My name is Teresa. In the world of hair, I have come full circle; this journey has given me a unique perspective in the inherent beauty of caring for it. I began about a decade ago as an apprentice, styling chemically treated hair. As life carried me away from my dream's path, I've longed to be back where my creativity and vision shine brightest.

I have now returned and am bursting with excitement to be working with natural hair. I have been doing natural hair (locs and twists) since 1999, and I love it. I began wearing my hair in its God-given state nearly four years ago. I went through all the phases of discovery; I experienced the mourning, the rebirth, and now I revel in complete liberation that is my hair. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to evoke the same freedom upon my clients.

Scheduling

Please refrain from bringing other persons with you to your appointment. As the salon offers limited waiting space, your appointment will begin no earlier than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time, unless otherwise notified.

Tardiness

Clients are required to notify us if they are going to be more that 15 minutes late for an appointment. We will assume, through your lack of communication, that you have cancelled your appointment, and will offer it to another client.

Cancellations

With the exception of an emergency situation, clients are required to cancel/reschedule the appointment no less than 24 hours in advance. A $25.00 cancellation fee will be applied to you for no show cancellations, and it is payable at your next appointment.

Teresa’s reserves the right to require a deposit for any guests who fails to show or cancel any number of appointments.

Children

Teresa’s welcomes all children who are receiving services. It is strongly requested that children who are not receiving service do not accompany the guest. It's understood that circumstances arise where last minute decisions must be made and we require that you give prior notification of children arriving.

Payment

Payment in full is expected upon the conclusion of the each client's regular appointment. There are no exceptions. We regularly accept Visa, Master Card, debit cards, and cash.

I want to provide the client with the best possible service. Therefore, I have changed my policies to serve you better. I strive to be prompt, efficient, and knowledgeable. I can only provide our services with your cooperation. Please remember that tardiness of one person delays all appointments preceding your scheduled appointment.
